About us
Our story
Gospel Commonwealth was formed in 2019 by worship pastors Pat Sczebel, Joel Sczebel, and Marc Willerton, who shared a passion for writing Christ-exalting songs that serve the local church.
Over the years, Gospel Commonwealth has remained committed to its original purpose, but by the Lord’s leading we have added an emphasis on training and mentoring worship leaders, raising up the next generation of leaders, and sending them out to church plants and local churches in need.
We are also committed to serving and training worship leaders in under-resourced and isolated churches where access to theological and musical training is limited or unavailable.
Our team
Pat Sczebel
Pat Sczebel and his wife Cherry live in Rosedale, BC. They have seven children. Pat works in training, equipping, and mentoring worship leaders and their teams. Pat loves playing golf in the sunshine, push-ups, and heading off-road 4x4ing with his Jeep.
Lois Piccioni
Lois is married to Brian and together they have 3 children: Jack, Barnaby and Nora. They live and serve at a local summer camp in Chilliwack, BC and are passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus!
Rob Brockman
Rob has served for 20 years in pastoral ministry and worship leadership. Rob is married to Sienna, is father to Anastasia and Roman, and loves Christ and His Church.
Rebekah Greenwood
Rebekah lives in Vancouver, BC and is completing her PhD in chemistry at UBC. When she’s not in the lab, you can find her at church, in the kitchen, out for coffee, or on a run.
Jeremy Browns
Jeremy is a designer living in Vancouver with his wife and two daughters. He likes coffee, reading, and running in the trails.

Our vision
Our vision is to strengthen the local church globally with the riches of the gospel, through training worship leaders, equipping song-writers, and producing Christ-exalting congregational songs.
Our mission
Our mission is to support the local church world-wide through:
- Gospel-centered, comprehensive worship leader training, mentoring and valuable resources for worship ministries
- Raising up an army of songwriters to write songs that exalt Christ, combining rich lyrics and singable melodies
